CONTRACTS

OPTION 1

Sole-Source Contract for Entire Solution

Privoro is qualified for a sole-source indefinite quantity indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract using Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III.

BENEFITS

  • There’s no limit on the size of a Phase III award or the scope of activities, meaning an organization can procure the entire system architecture in one fell swoop.

  • An organization doesn’t have to go through the arduous process of holding a competition for the award.

  • A sole-source award can be made in a matter of months or even weeks.

REQUIREMENTS

Per the SBIR and STTR Extension Act of 2022 and the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 2019 policy directive, there are only two requirements for a SBIR Phase III award:

  1. The SBIR III award must derive from, extend or complete a prior SBIR effort.

    1. “derive from” = trace back to SBIR efforts performed under prior funding agreements

    2. “extend” = expand the work into other applications not researched or performed in prior SBIR efforts

    3. “complete” = finish commercialization of the prior SBIR research into a commercial product or application

  2. The SBIR III award must be funded with non-SBIR funds.
